ToC bugged floor.

Morning,

I opened a GM ticket, and it was just answered while I was online. I recieved a letter stating that a gm could not reset a raid ID.

This however, is not what I was askign for.

What happened was a raid was formed for ToGC 10man. We successfuly got to Anubarak with 50 tries left on heroic, making us eligible for Tribute to Insanity if we complete the last boss. However the Lich King bugged during the rp and did not break the floor. Now we have a raid with no broken foor, no way to the last boss, and no npc to restart the rp even to break the floor.

We tried a soft reset of waiting outside for 30min. When that didn't work I opened a ticket with our Raid ID number and a run down of what happened. We will be extending the lockout to attempt him next week, assuming the floor will break.

We don't want a new raid, we don't want our charges reset (we already have 50 left) we want the raid to work.

This happened when ToC was first implemented on our realm and the Lich King was soft reset by a gm and the npc respawned so everything could properly take it's course. So I don't understand what the misunderstanding is here on this gms part.

If someone could provide some insight on our specific instance that would be wonderful.

Soft resets can sometimes take a little longer than others.

I'm glad it looks like this corrected for you.

While there are a very few dungeon encounters we can have an impact on if they 'hang' like this, the vast majority we cannot. If we touched anything - it would permanently break the script.

If anyone was even logged out inside, that can also extend the soft reset timer.
