Suspected item dupe in the wild

Over the weekend I heard of heaps of cheap [Primordial Saronite] on the auction house. Then, on monday night, I saw it. About 40 stacks of 5 [Primordial Saronite] on the AH at a unit price of 287g, when the realm average is at 400g. Thinking that it was a realm transfer char dumping the inventory, I bought them all. Similarly, I bought 443 stacks of 5 [Cardinal Ruby] at the unit price of 76g. Tuesday night the same seller posted more of the same items on the AH and I still thought it was a realm transfer, and bought out his inventory. Today morning before I went to work I did the same. But at work I did a mental accounting of exactly how much stuff I've bought, and realized that that number is a bit ridiculous:

about 500 [Primordial Saronite] bought with price ranging from 287g to 310g
about 1700 [Cardinal Ruby] bought with price ranging from 76g to 80g

Overall I've spent about 280k on his items (I've already resold a good portion of it, at insane profits), but then I realized this is not a typical server transfer personality. Individuals who would server transfer are much better off buying a variety of expensive items to sell. However, there is no diversification here. This guy sold the same 2 high-vaue, high-liquidity items, at insane volumes. I am told by a friend that that guy has more stacks of [Primordial Saronite] up right now. Please check it out:
