I recieved this email in my inbox, only it was in the email that i DONT use for world of warcraft. ...and I dont remember ordering this, and I'm pretty sure none of my friends did either. I realize this must be a scam but i just found out that my cousin who plays with her husband on wow also got several emails from the same place and it was the same circumstances. they got her business email somehow...I thought maybe there was something you could do about it or that you could at least warn your customers about this. i dont know if they are trying to steal accounts...i dont think thats the game here or they would send this to the email that had the account on it...anyway can you get back to me? figured you would want to know that someone is out there posing as blizz customer service and makes the email look pretty legit, except he or she is obtaining the wrong emails, however i can see how this would fool some of the younger players or those who are more naive.

Thank you for this report, Rakashä.

This email is in fact a phishing email. If you still have the email in your possession, please forward it to our Hacks team at hacks@blizzard.com.

If you post a warning like this again, please be sure to edit out the links. We definitely do not want other players to visit these sites out of curiosity. :)

You may wish to review this support page in the future if you continue to receive questionable emails from “Blizzard”.

Q u o t e:

Apologies, I see so many 'is this legit' that I just tend to roll out the standard "Fake, edit out, blahblahblah" though, in all fairness you need big warning lights and sirens saying <removed>

I know you may be trying to get your point across, Summersrain, but please do so in a more constructive manner.
