I was bored, and did a /WHO Gm Island and found two level 70s and a 60. So I opened a ticket and told them that the Cloak of Invisibility was broken. In the future, should I open a ticket or whisper them instead?

Next time I think I'll whisper them something along the lines of

Greetings Game Master <insert name>! It appears your cloak of invisibility is broken. You may need to clear your cache, interface and WTF folders and restart your client. If the problems persist, please contact a Game Mast-- oh right. Whoops.

Can they even receive whispers if their cloak is off?

Let me try something and see if it works.

It would be most apt to submit an in-game petition, Ltflippy; regrettably, we Game Masters—with or without suitable Invisibility armor—are unable to receive word from our players unless first initiating conversation.

This said, no one enjoys being...er, exposed in such a way; so, please feel free to send a heads-up our way whenever one of us has failed to equip the proper back piece. :)

As we Game Masters do not dare alter our systems with add-ons or third-party mods, there exists little need for such a process, Ltflippy; but, thank you for your consideration. ;)

Q u o t e:
Interface corruption can happen regardless of the presence of interface mods, as I would expect a Game Master such as yourself to know. :)

Hence my inclusion of the modifier "little"; I know the thought patterns of players all too well to omit such a detail. That said, resetting one's UI would only be helpful if the Game Masters, themselves, were experiencing display issues. ;)
