Incredibly Racist Arena Team Name

While I understand and do agree with you that the name is wholly inappropriate, please edit the link out. ;( Unfortunately, posting the name publicly is counter productive in that it can earn a ding against your forum posting privileges.

The mods can see edited text, though, no worries.

On the issue itself, while I do hope action is rather quickly taken, GMs will never be able to tell you what they have done one way or the other to any account other than your own.

Edit: And a pre-emptive answer: If you feel upset by this GM's actions or the GM policy, you can write your feelings to [email protected]. This is where the supervisors go for player feedback on individual GMs, situations, and policies.

Actually... Coresala was encouraging you to abide by the Code of Conduct so that you do not have your posting privileges suspended.

It seems that you are not going to take that advice so I will edit it for you. Please do not post it again.

Guild and Arena names tend to take a bit of time, Yeer, though I can not give you information on the outcome of your petition I can assure you that such names would not be acceptable.

You are being admonished for posting the name on the forum, Yeer. You obviously understand that the words used are not appropriate so why would you believe that posting them would be any better?

Feel free to report any name that you feel violates our Terms of Use, Yeer, but do so via an in-game petition or by writing to [email protected]. Not using the forums to call another player out and certainly not to repeat the same language that you were having an issue in the first place.

If only. I am sorry, Yeer, I completely understand your views regarding this matter. We hope to find ourselves living in a world with more enlightened individuals and it is disappointing to find that is not even close to true yet. I can assure you that we at Blizzard Entertainment take such issues very seriously and will address the matter appropriately.
