Item Randomly Disappeared

Early yesterday morning I queued up for and did a random BG on this character. I switched my gear using the ingame Equipment manager, and once I was done with the BG I switched back to my pve gear.

I got an error saying that I was missing one of my items, it was my offhand, Scourgelord's Baton. I didn't delete it and I have no idea where it may be but I can't find it in any of my bags or my bank. Already tried loading the game with no addons and I still can't get it to appear. I'm kind of worried about this as I have Lich King 25 attempts tonight.

That was sold to a vendor 8/16, Samej.

You'll remove the gold from the sale also right? I don't want to unbalance the economy.

When we return something like that - it's normally shipped back COD for the price the vendor gave you, yes.

Aye, but there isn't a number set in stone on those.

We do keep track to make sure no one abuses the system, but it's rare for a player to get to that point.
