Lost characters

Today I got on the game and not to soon later my acount was band for 3 hours for buying gold witch I did'nt do when I got my account back my characters were gone all of them. And in there place were a bunch of lvl 1 in diffrent relms. Can somone tell me what happen and how I can get my characters back.

I suspect you have the order backwards here.

It sounds like you responded to a phish, they got in and used the account to advertise, and then there was the suspension.

In any case, yes - this is a compromise.

You need to be absolutely sure both your system and email are secure. If there have been any damages to the account, they need reported as soon as possible.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.
