I know one of the issues I read about on the druid forums is trouble tanking low level dungeons. I think this is because people are viewing their druids as bears rather than shapeshifters (often skipping furor till after they get mangle). While I was leveling, I pulled with spells to pre-load threat. Furor gave me rage to start generating threat. And afterwards I was normally out of rage, making shifting back to caster or cat form dashing to the next mobs less of a burden on my performance.
On the other hand, in looking at the specs, I considered picking up Heart of the Wild for both my resto and moonkin specs. And while the stamina and AP is nice for ferals, I don't think it is really necessary for leveling UNTIL the later levels. As such, I propose swapping the two talents. Heart fo the Wild would be come a t1 resto talent, while furor would become a feral talent.
I do have a side question though. Why do we need to put 31 points into a tree before offspeccing? I get it needing to be more than 20-25 talent points, Blizzard doesn't want to encourage hybrid specs, and after finally accepting DW Elemental wasn't going to work, I agree with them. However, At 31 points, I feel I HAVE to pick up the 31 point talent and GC has mentioned you should WANT to pick it up, But at least in terms of DKs, I really, really hate Dancing Rune Weapon. Maybe it is just M:TG flashbacks of getting killed repeatedly by a stupid 1/5 flying artifact, But I would rather pick-up an 11 point talent in another tree then HAVE to pick a 31-point talent.
Anyway, thanks for any informative feedback.
