Friends account stolen

I log on today to see that an old college friend is online for the first time in months so I message him to see how things are going. No response. So i notice that he is in Black Temple. So i call him to see if he's online and of course he isn't. Says he hasn't renewed his subscription in over a month. he said he would be in contact with the account department to try to get things resolved but for now he asked if I would put in a ticket to try and get his account locked or shut down.

I put in a ticket in-game. I'm posting here to let you know and to try to cover all ground on helping my friend with his account.

An in-game petition reporting the possible compromise of your friend's account is the proper course of action, Ontar. Odds are your friends login information was gained before they quit playing and the compromiser only recently decided to take it for a spin. :(
