I've giving a friend of mine 10k gold for his epic flying and to help level his professions on his priest. Is that against ToS? Like can I get in trouble for giving another playing a large amount of gold like that?

No, Iniquity, as Karrek said as long as the gold was not obtained illicitly you should be fine.

I like happy stories! =]

I am curious though, yes we've established that this isn't against the rules, but are we sure that it wont trigger a red flag? I know that giving someone a large sum is allowed, but I'd rather not have to deal with having to explain to someone what I was doing in order to get my account unbanned.

We normally look at more then just the exchange of gold as other requirements usually need to be met. If by the off chance that you somehow meet those requirements and the account is either suspended or closed you merely need to contact our Account Administration department. They'll be able to look into the matter and determine if an error occurred and if so they'll be able to overturn it.
