Is there a time limit on gold recovery?

So I got the #132 error + trojan that steals your authenticator code last week on thursday. changed my password about 3 hours later and got rid of the trojan, but it turns out I had already been hacked and all my gold was stripped. I hadn't actually bothered to log into my account until today (been playing SC2 / Cata) when I found out I lost all my gold.

I put a ticket in but is it still recoverable?

That should be fine.

When we run into issues is weeks - months, sometimes even years down the road and players request restorations and the records simply aren't still available.
