Email response to ticket?

I filed a petition and received an in game email response to it. Is this something new? It is a real blizz email, blizz logo 90 day expiration, unable to reply.

As well as the extreme copy and paste method of this email(didn't even say Greetings Aaldayen simply Greetings) it was also contradicting itself as the last line said "Please be advised we will be unable to respond via in game email" You're telling me this.. via an in game email? I didn't even get the impression that my petition had been read whatsoever.

In the past I've received excellent customer service and yes occasionally some that was meh.. but everyone has a bad day now and then. This was just absolutely pathetic to the point that I'm actually going to email about it... now what was that address again.

found it

Again this was on Aaldayen, also of Duskwood server. Email is still in inbox.

The last few petitions I see on this account are appreciated and were looked into, Lad - but really no reason for a Game Master to speak with you about them.

Clear, concise - all the information we needed.

There are times when the queues are high that certain issues are processed a bit more expediently, this would be one of those. That doesn't allow us to contact you in person, we basically send a generic thank you out for the report and then get onto the petitions :)

That's not our preferred method, but sometimes it is necessary to get to as many issues as possible.

Q u o t e:
I'm not objecting to the in game mail, in fact in most cases I would prefer it that way. Just found it odd.

My complaint is that I did not get the impression my ticket had even been read.. simply opened given some random cut and paste response hoping it would match and closed. As I stated in the email I sent to the feedback email I simply asked that they at least type in my name and provide some kind of personalization.. even another cut and paste line that was unique to that GM, as long as my name was included.

That would be normal on a one-on-one response, Lad. The particular method used in this case, it's really not possible.

Again, this isn't a method we enjoy or prefer at all, but sometimes it is necessary. Issues are addressed, but they are done in a little different way to get as many processed as possible.
