Been waiting for a GM, for a little while....

Ok, so a few days ago I do a character transfer to another server, followed by a Faction Transfer. Get a little bugged. Decided to put in a GM ticket about it, see if we can get it worked out. So I put it in, and its getting late, and I have to work in the morning. It says high number of petitions. I think, well ok, they will get to it tonight, and send me an Email. I get up in the morning a few minutes early to check for an email. Nope, no email, so I decide to check in game to see if my petition is still up. Yerp, still up. So I think well maybe they will get it today when I am at work.

The day goes by, and I get home. Check my email expecting to have a "Were looking into it" email. Nope, no email yet again. So I figured it couldn't be much more of a wait, its been up almost a full day..... I was wrong. Nothing when I go to bed that night. Wake up, decided not to check it, ya know give them extra time to get to me. Go to work, come home, check email, no email. Log on, petition still up. Ok, getting a little annoyed, but I know there are SOOOOO many people playing this game, and there staff is only so big, so I am guessing it can get a little hectic. So I wait, do pally things, and then go to bed.

Wake up, go to work, come home, check email, no email, log on. Petition is still up, so I decided since Maintenance happened on tues(day before this day), maybe something happened with my ticket, and its bugged. So I abandon it, and make a new one. Wait till bed time, log out, hoping they would get to it during the night. Nope, went to work today, and am home now. Petition still up. I am a very patient man, and I will wait as long as it takes. Just wondering is 4 days to get to talk to a GM is the norm now? Normally the longest it took was maybe 5 hours.

4 days is a bit excessive (and still going), and I know Blizz gets swamped all the time. I am just wondering if I can expect a response anytime soon.

Oh yeah, the character that is bugged (kinda guessing on that) is Consilia on Korgath, preciously Tiberus on illidan.

Queue times are currently around 1-2 days, Tiberus. Unfortunately because you closed your first petition, which at that point had been open for one day 18 hours, it was removed from queue, about an hour or so before it would have been reviewed. :(

What is the name that you wanted for that character?

Where did you ever get the impression that we aren't? We have been hiring additional staff on a near continuous basis since World of Warcraft launched.

You know that how exactly? I wasn't aware that you had access to the number of employees we currently have for In-Game Support. O.o

The fact of the matter is queue times have always fluctuated greatly depending on many factors. Over the last year or two they have been as low as 5 minutes and as high as near a week. They have not continued to rise and not gone back down, as evidenced by the fact that over the last few months queue times have dropped from around 4-5 days to 1-2.
