Account issue with password being reset

My account was recently hacked, and the day my account was hacked the password was reset. I continue to receive email notifications that I requested my password to be reset. However, I have not requested the password to be reset any of these times. Why is my password being reset and who is doing it? I put in a ticket to a GM in-game, but received a vague response.

Well, looking over this - I only see on malicious change - that was back on 8/11.

I also see you've added an authenticator - excellent! That should go a long way to keeping someone else out of your account.

The other emails you've gotten would have been changes to the password made from here. It's absolutely standard practice to change it at least once in a compromise - sometimes more than once.

The very last one I see you yourself did. Also, keep in mind that tactic is sometimes employed by phish attempts. Fake emails, always check to make sure any email that says it's from Blizzard truly is by checking the internal routing headers on the email.

Does that help?
