Deleted character with BOA items in the mail

I sent my freshly made level 1 toon some BOA items and when I logged in I realized I made the wrong class. So without thinking I logged out, deleted the toon and proceeded to make my shaman with the exact same name. It was not until I reached a mailbox that I realized my mistake. My BOA items were sent to the toon I just deleted!

Is there anyway at all I can have these items recovered? I dont want to have to wait 30days for the mail to get returned :(
