Question regarding upgrading a trial account

I recently joined Azeroth by way of Recruit-A-Friend, and i about 3 days into my 10-day trial. I was wondering, if i were to upgrade now, rather then at the end of the 10-day trial period, do i lose the free 10 days? Or will the remaining 7 or so days that i have left be added to my prepaid time?

Indeed, it just extends your time. When you upgrade, it may take a little while to fully enable the account, up to 72 hours - but doesn't normally take that long.
