Our guild was one of those who won the essay contest recently, and I've just received word that one of the individuals we had on the list of beta key invites had their account hacked this morning. (Please see thread http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=26435287000&sid=1 for reference).
We've opened up a ticket to request reimbursement of all of the items taken from the guild bank by the hacked individual at the approximate time of day this happened (Sunday morning, I've heard around 6am). However - I would also like to petition that this person's account be removed from our list of 10 invitees since - well, it's no longer the player we expected it to be and appears to be under another party's control. I'm not sure how to report that or proceed, but obviously it doesn't make a lot of sense to hand out a beta to what appears to be a gold seller for the moment.
Internally, we have taken the necessary measures to resolve by opening up a ticket with the in-game GMs and removing the member (and their alts) from the roster until this is resolved. However, what do I need to do or who should I contact to amend the guild beta invite list as well? Please advise on how to proceed or who I should contact for further resolution of the matter.
Apologies for the inconvenience - this is not a situation we anticipated to happen. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
