Recruit a Friend Link?

I got my brother into the game and I sent him a recruit a friend link. After he logged on, he immediately upgraded his account to a full WoW and Burning Crusade game, but I never got any rewards from it. In fact, it says that no action on his part has been taken. I'm not sure why this is. Can anyone help?

If your brother created a trail account and upgraded it, Deveonny, he did so without actually redeeming the Recruit a Friend invitation.

All is not lost though, the link can be applied retroactively but he will need to contact our Billing and Account Services department when they are open.

You can call 1 (800) 592 5499 (1-800-59-BLIZZARD) 7AM-8PM (PST/PDT) for live representation.
Australian users should please call 1-800-041-378 if the standard 800 line does not work.

Either will work actually. Just note that our call volume has been rather high of late so if you get a busy message please hang up and try again.
