Account locked help

last sunday, one of my friends accounts was locked due to suspicious activity. he saw that he received a email about it. after checking it it said that he needed to check his computer for corruption, then change his email password, and then finally changing his wow password. after doing the 1st 2, he used the link (no it wasnt a scam e-mail) to change his password. but at the link it showed a place to write "new password" and "confirm password". but at the top there was a warning that his password change time was up and needed to ask for another using the link on the page. he was very annoyed about that becuz it had only been 2 days and he was out camping, so he had no way to get to his email (2 days is a very short time). he searched the page but found no link. he tried the password change on the page but it didnt work. he then sent an email to blizzard about it and if he could please get another so he could change his password. its been 5 days now but he hasnt gotten a reply and is wondering if anyone else is having the same problem or has a way to fix it.
