Q u o t e:
My question is simple, Does this 2nd game still qualify for all the recruit a friend benefits, or do the accounts need to be completely seperate?
Just to make sure we're absolutely clear, Zugruk. You sent a Recruit a Friend invitation that you are intending to use for your daughter. While you were still logged into your Battle.net account you or she opened that invitation and clicked on the link, which ended up attaching the Recruit a Friend trial account to this Battle.net account?
From what I can see that is what seems to have happened but I want to make sure I properly outlined it.
Your question is, can the accounts receive RaF benefits even though they are part of the same Battle.net account. The answer is, absolutely!
You may use the RaF promotion system to recruit a friend, a spouse, a child or even yourself.
Since an adult should be the one registered to a World of Warcraft account we allow one minor child (that the registered adult is the parent or legal guardian of) so access the account. Thus, having the account you are allocating to her on your account is perfectly fine, as long as she is a minor.
One thing to consider though, Parental Controls, if you decide to set them up, apply to the entire Battle.net account. If you wish to be able to set up different controls for your daughter than you would want for yourself you may want to consider creating another Battle.net account, still in your name, but to be used for your daughter's account.
This would require a new e-mail address and you'll need to send a new Recruit a Friend invitation and redeem it on that account, but I wanted to make sure you knew of your options before you upgraded the Recruit a Friend trial account to a full standard account.
