Cataclysm BETA invite

So today I found out I got into the Cataclysm BETA when I was checking on when I paid for my WoW last month... As it turns out the tons of "spam" I got about the BETA invitations were right when I thought they were fake Emails (I deleted them). I want to check the newer ones.. but don't want to risk losing my account. How can I know which Email senders are fake, or even better what does Blizzard go by when they themselves send you an Email?

I know there's a sticky on it but I just want to know for sure...

And would I get hacked if it was fake and I just OPENED the mail without clicking any links inside?
