Q u o t e:
Recently I received and email saying:
"In-Game Chat Policy Violation - Advertisement and Spamming......contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for ""real-world"" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy."
Which I have done nothing of the sort, and my password was also reset. As soon as I found this out I changed all my passwords asap, when I went to go play my character it said my chat and mail privileges have been temporarily suspended pending Game Master review. So now I can't chat to anyone, then about 4 hours later I returned to play my game and it says all my quests are complete when I havn haven't even started them. My question is what is going on and how can I fix this? I sent a email to Blizzard but who knows how long that will take....
You may not have, but your account most assuredly has, Cutie.
That is presuming of course you didn't make a day-trip overseas and decide to spam for a gold company :)
I'd recommend a full security sweep of any systems you've used to log into game, these forums, or account management. I'd also check your email to make sure it is secure and hasn't had a forwarding put on it.
Changing your email for Battle.net to a totally fresh and unrelated one may be even better.
