Angry and want answers.

Posting this for my boyfriend since he is unable. His account has been permanently closed with out any explaination. The email he recieved said it was because of exploitive behavior, botting or using hack programs. No specifics were given for the closure. His account was not hacked as far as we can tell. He uses an authenticator, he is still his guild and no one has seen any of his charactors online since the acct was closed and all of his charactors look normal on the armory.

My boyfriend has been playing WoW for over 5 years and has never, ever, ever used any kind of bot program, hack or any other exploit. There is also absolutely no chance that he has used any powerleveling service or bought gold.

He has filled out a email form for account adminstrators and has yet to hear anything back, and calling customer service has just yielded the information that they cannot help him, he will have to wait to hear from account admins. Waiting hours, days or whatever for such a serious issue to be addressed is completely unacceptable.

I would like to know what he can do to expidite the Account Administrators looking into this matter. He has already missed important raid time ect due to this unfair action.

I would also like to know what could have caused the account to be Permantely Closed. We have been going over and over his actions, his state of security ect ect and have found Nothing but clearly Blizzard thought there was some thing that merited a Closure and yet gave no explaination for said Closure.

And finally, once this matter is cleared up, how is he going to be compensated for loss of game time that he has already paid for? What about the set back that he has suffered by missing raids, raid achievements and miscellaneous achievements that he has been working very hard toward? What about elligibliity for the beta??

Nothing. Account Administration will process his e-mail as soon as possible but they will not be able to jump ahead of others in queue.

That isn't information that you are entitled to, Wickedness, we would not provide information regarding another person's account. We are able to provide a general idea of what the closure was for though we rarely give details to the registered user on the account as to exactly what the cause of the closure was for. Releasing those details would lend itself to a transparency of our investigation techniques that could be used by those very same violators to get around our detection methods.

Now, if you'd like to give me the name and realm of a character on the account I may be able to look into and lend what advice I can.

If it is determined an error was made it will be overturned with our apologies. In certain cases we may be able to provide game credit. Eligibility shouldn't be affected if the actions are overturned.

It looks like he has sent in the dispute and it is currently in queue to be reviewed. My best guess is that he'll be contacted within a day or two.
