Server transfer/race change name issue

I decided to server transfer and faction change my 80 rogue (horde) to another server. I had reserved a name by creating an alt and then deleted it so that I could use the name. After the server transfer, my rogue had random characters after the name (as expected). Then I switched it over to alliance (without changing the name). The faction change completed and I could choose my new race and customize it (where I then renamed it). The re-customization and name change was successful but when I tried to enter the world it said the name was unavailable and I needed to change it. I haven't done it yet, hoping I could possibly still get my name back. Any help?

Try this now Polt. Anytime you are requesting multiple transactions like this, it's best to log into the character between steps. That's how this can happen.

Let me know if the character is still inaccessible.
