Screwed/Scammed out of a Valuable Item

I think i've been scammed. I traded this guy for a TCG card. He said he had it, He took a photo and timestamped it and said he would give me the code once I traded the item.

I trusted him because he had it fricken timestamped in the card shop he was in.

Anyways he sat afk, afk, and afk till he dc'd. He came back 30minutes later said network problem. I said ok WHERS THE CODE...he said just a sec....just a sec,,,,just a sec and he DC'd AGAIN not he was afk for 20minutes befor dcing! Its now been 2 hours and he still isnt online. I put in a ticket on 2 seperate accounts.

Blizzard, u can check the chat logs to see what happened and I have been scammed right so I should get my item back no harm no foul correct?

Like I said I only trusted him because he was a card shop owner that timestamped the card in a photo.

This item i traded him was worth 30k.

Submit an in-game petition reporting this alleged scam, Siddonis. Your petition will likely need to be escalated for further investigation but they will take a look and take what actions are appropriate. I should warn you that no restoration is ever guaranteed, especially on unsupported transactions, we will try to provide what restoration we can though and you will be notified if that is possible.
