Offensive Names

Over the course of my 5 year WoW career, I’ve reported a total of 4 people for offensive names.

Then I receive emails from GM’s stating their appreciation for helping in this matter. But my question is, are they really appreciative? Or when someone reports a name, are they actually thinking “So what, I’ve got more important things to do” and send me a default template response?

The reason I’m asking this is because I try my hardest to be a considerate person, and if reporting a name is more of a hassle than a help, I’ll just move on.

Of course we appreciate such reports, Xakal.

And yes, every single one is looked into, we don't rubber stamp changes just because a report is made.

Some areas are gray, some are judgment calls and not every reported name will eventually be deemed necessary to change - but they are all looked into.
