Changing password

I believe this is the best way to get a response to an issue. I've used in-game, phone, and e-mail to deal with most issues, with varied responses (regarding timeliness). I am currently trying to change my password to my account (no issue ... just time to change it). The worldofwarcraft.com site has an option to change password. Now comes the problem. I clicked and it took me to the login, and pretty much directed me to battle.net. After fishing though my account history, back to account, to options to purchase/move/change/upgrade toons and account ... i realized that changing password is a mess. No option to change password. The simple option to change the password was a SIMPLE process. I got transfered to the battle.net website. I understand connecting battle.net and wow happened, and connecting email address to our account login happened. I am responsible for the security of my account, but i would like some help to maintain the security.
