This evening when I tried to log into my aco#@!@ I discovered it had been locked due to "suspicious activity". So I check my e-mail and there's one from Blizzard which wasn't very informative, just said my account was locked for suspicious activity, I need to change my password before i can log in, I should scan my PC for viruses etc.

I would like to know what this suspicious activity was, considering I only ever log in from home and nobody else has ever had access to my account and it has never been compromised..

What character name and realm is on the account in question?

The character I am posting from is on the affected account.

Could you pop open the internal routing header of that email and look to see who the sender is?

If you are referring to the account you are posting under, I suspect you've been phished.

Did you actually run into a block trying to log-in, or are you just going by the letter?

That's not from the internal routing header, or at least not nearly all of it.

The routing header is a bit difficult to read and you usually have to figure out how to show it, it's usually full of numbers.

On this account - to this email, I'm just not seeing this.

You were trying to log in from the launcher? I'm not seeing this account locked.

Have you downloaded any addons lately - perhaps from a site you Googled? I'm just afraid perhaps you've picked up a fake one that really isn't connecting with us.

Ok, BATTLE.NET account, that isn't what I was understanding - I thought you meant your WoW account. I know that's probably confusing, but they are different things.

Have you tried dialing in without that service? I'm still not seeing this locked, but that could be coming into play here.

Please give it another try. If you are still having issues, this may be something our technical support folks need to look into for you.
