Possibly hacked, quick help please?

Ok, I know this isn't the place to go for in-game help, but I'm just like anyone else seeking closure on a problem.

I have been at an overnight football camp all week (left monday night) and just got back today.

I get on WoW and go onto my bank alt to check up on my guild bank and to put my auctions up once more, and I go to my guild bank only to see that all of my epic gems and titanium powder have been taken out, along with all my gold.

The only thing that seems strange to me, is that all my other characters seem untouched (my bank alt's armor wasn't even vendored, and the only thing that was taken was my epic gems, gold, and titanium powder).

I have reason to believe my brother has taken it because of this:

1. He is a Jewelcrafter and constantly asking to cut gems, and use my titanium power
2. While I was away, it seems that my room has been disturbed (along with the area in which I hide the information for this account)
3. He was talking about renewing his account again and this is why he was asking me for my stuff.

I just would like to know if I could get some quick help on this, and if a Blizzard rep would be willing to tell me if the mail was sent to an account that logged on with the same IP as the one I am using now? Because if so, I would like to be able to get my parents involved, seeing as they think I blame him without proper reasoning.

So I'm sorry for posting this here once again, but I would just like the items recovered as they're worthing well over 7000 gold, and it would be very nice to get them back.

So please, help me.

I'm not able to tell you much, Fact, but at first glance it does not look like your account was accessed by a foreign party.

I would say your theory is likely pretty close to actual events. I'm not certain what we'll be able to do but your petition will be looked into.

Of course I can. It seems you submitted two petitions that were exactly the same. One of your petitions was categorized correctly so it will can be investigated and the second one, the least eldest petition, was closed as a duplicate.

The In-Game Support staff has no control over when a survey may be offered, simply the act of handling the petition generated it. Sorry for the confusion, Fact.

Do you mean your password was reset by someone other than you, Fact?

A password reset is usually part of the process when a compromise case is forwarded. That may have been what happened. :)

You should have received an e-mail letting you know though, perhaps it was blocked by a spam filter or ended up in your junk folder. As long as we are still referring to this account my original assessment hasn't changed, I don't see any foreign access. A more thorough investigation will be able to tell for certain though.

You didn't request a password reset by visiting your Battle.net Account Management page did you?

That looks legitimate. If you hover over the links do they go where they say they go?

If that is a legitimate e-mail. If the link actually goes where it says it does it appears to be a Battle.net address which is good.

It seems that you are part way through the password reset process and just need to visit the link that you keep posting in full. It takes me to a legitimate page and gives me the opportunity to select a new password. I'm sure you would rather have one of your choosing though. :)
