You'll want to control your language, Sicario, I usually only give one chance.

I can understand that you are frustrated that you were unable to acquire the materials you were going for but throwing a tantrum and stomping about is not very productive and it won't change how materials are acquired.

What you have run into is called, random chance.

When you mine a particular node you will receive the or from that node and you will also have a random chance to acquire additional items that the node generates (i.e. stone, gems, or a rare metal such as silver or gold).

Why do you have to faction change or transfer, Sicario? Those are optional services brought about because our player base requested it. Yes, you pay around $15 a month for your subscription, but one has nothing to do with the other, your subscription pays for access to your account, which you have received.

you never understand how i feel until you spend 7 Hrs looking for something you need and never get it on a game your paying month after month.

Ah, but that is the thing, Sicario, I'm sure many of us perfectly understand your frustration. It is rather disheartening to search for hours for materials that you need to level your chosen profession and not be lucky enough to find it.

What most of us understand though, this is simply how it goes. Sometimes you get lucky and find what you need and other times you don't. I I believe when I was leveling my Jewelcrafting profession I had to purchase the majority of my Truesilver ore because I simply couldn't find enough on my own. Though I had been mining for a while before I started actively working on Jewelcrafting so I did have a surplus of Gold ore.

Never can find it when I am looking for it though, such is life.

HEY BLIZZARD !CASH ALERT! I AM WILLING TO PAY THOSE $25 DOLLARS YOU CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING FOR MORE GOLD ORE VEINS AND FOR YOU TO REMOVE LARGE FANGS FROM JEWELL CRAFTING.

You are so precious.

So now i need luck to level a profession?

No, but you may need a bit of luck to gather materials that appear randomly throughout the world.
Q u o t e:

Why cant you just admit that you went way too far on a simple leveling of a profession?

Well, because that would be an erroneous statement, Sicario. I have multiple characters spread out across multiple realms. I have leveled nearly every race/class combination to a respectable level and I maintain four high level characters. I have one of each profession including characters who have maxed out their skills as a Jewelcrafter, an Engineer, two Blacksmiths, three Miners, two Herbalists, an Alchemist and an Inscriber.

So take this from a fellow player and not just a Blizzard Employee, I see nothing wrong with the way the system currently works. As the others in this thread have tried to tell you, and in your last post it seems you will give it a try, there are multiple ways to raise a skill.

Though from your wording it seems to me you are associating me somehow with a Developer. I'm sorry, Sicario, I'm not a Developer nor am I liaison with one. If you wish to see a change made to the game you will want to post in our Suggestion forum where our Developers and Community Managers may review your feedback.

Though it seems instead of merely complaining that your chosen profession is difficult, it may be more beneficial to use it the way it was intended. To seek advice from your fellow players. For example there is an entire profession forum which includes guides on how to best go about leveling your profession using the best recipes and ingredients to make it relatively cheap and quick.
