Account Suspension

So I was kind of wondering why my Account was suspended. And also, I've found out when it will end, but the problem is the given time for it's use doesn't include PM or AM. I'm assuming that this was a precautionary 24-hou Safety Ban, and that it should lift at the AM time, but then again, I'm not 100% sure.

Just some information and remaining time would be nice. Things like why it was suspended, and the AM/PM time it should have it's suspension lifted. Hopefully this isn't too much to ask.

If it is just a 24-hour Suspension for Precautionary Safety, it should lift very soon, but if not I still have a long ways to go. Just want to know how much longer I'm on this boat for.

Let me know if you need anything like information regarding the account. I see sometimes you've requested a Realm or Character Name, not sure if you'd want that from me. Better to wait and see what you ask for, I suppose.

I'd need to know a character name and realm on the account to take a look.

Well, Bronz - unless you took a magical day-trip overseas, you've been compromised :(

Even better, they thought to put a petition in - in your name, to get this back. I can tell from your post you have a fairly good grasp of English, they most certainly do not.

They may very well be into your email, given this response.

I'd recommend starting with a full and complete system scan - and then making sure your email is secure.

Yours is the last password change I see, but they also changed it right before you did.

If at all possible, I would strongly urge you to try to get an authenticator onto this account as an extra layer of security.

If they still have a way to get your information, indeed they will try.

These guys don't give up if they still have a way to get your information.

This suspension should end on it's own, but making sure you are secure before it drops is very important.

If you decide you need a bit more time, let us know and we could lock this for you till you can get your authenticator.

We'd rather not do that, but it's better than getting immediately recompromised when the suspension is over.

It is important to find this, there could be other pieces of your personal information at risk - but an authenticator should keep your WoW account safe.

I think this latest is just some cleanup from before and another password change would be from that.

While we can do a restoration at any time, if there is still significant danger of an account being recompromised, it's usually best to wait.

I do see you have an open investigation now in process. Also, it's never 'too late' to add an authenticator. To prevent what's already happened, certainly - but not to prevent repeat intrusions.

You can have all that cleared up as well. It may even hit ban status if they were naughty enough, but again, all that can be sorted out.

You were very close to the mark when you said this is for your protection. It's better to lock things down and stop the abuse and then sort them out once we know a player is back in control and secure.
