Ghostcrawler -

The biggest problem of the rogue class right now is mobility. Right now there is really no reason to play a rogue instead of a Warrior. Warriors have great mobility, MS, fantastic damage output, and about 10 times the survivability of a rogue.

Giving subtlety the only access to Shadowstep is similar to removing Intercept from Arms/Prot Warriors. We don't need to have overwhelming damage output, or even strong defensive cooldowns. What we need is a way to close distance / avoid incoming burst / move around the arena or BG to utilize our interrupts.

And why is Combat's main defensive cooldown only applicable to melee attacks? Rogues right now have the most problems with caster cleaves (mainly due to poor mobility).

The main point is, we don't want to be standing toe to toe with opponents. As it stands now, come Cata if there is a decent Warrior in the arena we will not be able to restealth once due to refreshed bleeds. What we want is mobility and control. Taking away our stunlock and limiting the mobility of 2/3 specs is just not working.

Who is working on the rogue Cata changes? Do you have high level rogue players advising you? I sure hope so, yet based on the changes so far...I highly doubt it.

Enough with the self bumping. If other players find your thread interesting, they'll reply. If they don't, there may be a reason.
