I was just wondering whats going on with my hacked wow account right now. im in the process of getting my email recovered (hopefully because microsoft is taking forever and being hard about it) I just wanted to see if its locked and if my items are currently being recovered ( I dont have access to my account atm )

Character on account:

Uldaman - killerplox

I was also wondering if giving an authentication key from my Burning crusade expansion is enough proof that the account is mine so when i phone tomorrow i can get my wow account back without ever needing to get my email back. The authentication key is the one on disc one in the box set.

Looks like your restoration is actually done, but they are still awaiting word back that you have your security confirmed.

If you've sent that in, it may be a day or so in processing.

Well, it's still locked.

Until we get that webform confirmation and know it's you, it's not budging :)

I'd set up a new unrelated email and call Billing for assistance in getting that changed. Probably the safest course all the way around. Providing of course you know your system is now secure.

That shouldn't happen.

:)

There are reasons one must use that webform to get one of these unlocked.

Billing has several ways they can confirm your identity on the phone - which they will do if at all possible.

If that isn't possible, they can give you further information on what they'll need and how to submit it.

Looks like the restoration did impact multiple characters.

Soon as you get back ingame, I would recommend verifying everything was caught. We will be happy to take another look if something seems to have gotten overlooked - but normally one pass gets the majority of compromises taken care of.
