Unsafe website?

I just typed wow armory into Google and the top "sponsored link" was <removed> instead of www.wowarmory.com. I went there and its an exact replica of the armory but when you go to search for someone it asks you to sign in with your account information. Is this an attempt to steal login information or is this a legit site because if it is illegal you might want to announce it or maybe start an unsafe website page on your website.

While I appreciate your intention of warning folks of this site - let's not given them more visibility by reposting the URL.

This trick surfaced some time ago. Ours is not the only site they've done this with - they've done it with some of the more popular addons as well.

I recommend following links to the armory and forums from OUR site and being very very careful if you ever need to google anything else.

If you actually went to the site, I'd also highly recommend immediately scanning your system for malware.
