This has been going on for like a year now. Are any steps being taken to reduce wait times?

Q u o t e:

Unemployment in CA is 12.2%. This position doesn't require a college degree and it probably only requires minimal training, considering a well-qualified person would just need a customer service background, computer literacy, and perhaps a passion for gaming. There's no excuse for not being able to find qualified new-hires.

Then you are encouraged to apply, Thanihl! I can assure you that we have, in no way, "downsized" our Support Staff. Quite the opposite, actually, since we opened the Austin branch in Texas, we have grown by leaps and bounds, and are constantly looking for more IGS reps:

As for the wait times, we are consistently looking for new ways to let players help themselves, to help alleviate the petition queue wait times. As pointed out above, the development implemented BoP item trading system was introduced just for that reason, when the queue times were extremely high. If you have any suggestions on how you think we may better assist our players, in a quicker manner, then I encourage you to post your thoughts on the Suggestions Forum.

At this time, queue times are sitting roughly above two days-down from the recent wait time of four days. The petition that you sent in 1 day and 21 hours ago would be receiving a response right about this time, if you had not abandoned it to submit a new petition roughly 44 minutes ago. I would suggest waiting for a reply this time if you would like to see your items returned from the character you deleted.

Your numbers are not accurate, as I have had an open, unresponded-to ticket for 4 days now. And if you want to play word games, then let me rephrase my statement to "I also think I know about how long it takes to train someone to work as a GM."

I'm afraid I may have missed that petition, Thanihl. Can you give me the name and realm of the character that has a 4 day old petition? No ticket, unless escalated for further review, should be over 2 days and 2 hours.

Thanihl, are you able to log into the game at this time? I have a few questions I would like to ask, that may be better suited for a different medium than the forums.

In-game now. I'll hang out at my desk for a little bit.

Thanks, Thanihl, I'll be there to speak with you in a moment. :0)
