Account Restoration Issue

I guess that I am being a little selfish now.

My account was recently hacked, and then my account frozen. I called blizzard support and talked to a very nice woman who told me that everything had been deleted. Lovely. She reassured me that my characters would be restored, but I would have to wait about 2-3 days. In the meantime, I made this character.

Last night I got about 6 emails at once about individual characters had been restored. All six of them were on my old realm and really didn't mean that much to me. So this restoration was completely bogus. I know I am "looking a gift horse in the mouth" but I got back some characters that I really didn't want back. Only one of them was truly worth saving.

Also, I log in to WoW, (10 hours after recieving the email) and the character list for all my realms is still empty except for this toon (which I made after getting my account hacked).

Am I missing something here? Will I get more than the 6 toons? Why arent the restored toons back in the game? Is there something I am missing?

I feel like I have been cheated, but at the same time, I know that it might be the best blizzard can do. I just want my toons back on the realm that I ACTUALLY play on

It's entirely possible our date range could have been off.

Fairly rare, but it can happen.

Just to make sure, try creating a fresh character on the realms in question. Sometimes restorations don't necessarily show on the character list till it's refreshed. A new character can force that to happen.

See if they are back - and if not, we can certainly take another look into this.

Usually an account is worked in total - all at once.

Sounds like we may have had our dates a bit off - or perhaps overlooked a realm.

What I'd like you to do is jot down a brief list. In this case, sounds like characters/realms and email that to [email protected].

Just ask them to take another look. Also, be sure to make it clear this is a followup review and NOT a new compromise :) They usually get to those fairly quickly.
