About a week ago I was clearing out my bags and accidentally vendored my heroic Frost Giant's Cleaver. I figured I'd put in a ticket to see if I could get it back. I went through the standard procedure and waited for it to get escalated and finally today got a response from the GM.

The message I received from the GM said that he'd be able to restore my Bryntroll, which struck me as weird as that was the weapon I was using. Supposedly I was supposed to receive it in the mail. Upon looking at my character I no longer had my Bryntroll equipped, there wasn't one in the mail, and ON TOP of all of this I didn't get back the Frost Giant's Cleaver.

I didn't even know it was possible for a GM to delete something I currently had equipped, but I am furious. There is no other way this could have happened, my account is authenticated and I have not had any middle man attacks as I've logged on every time. All my other gear is in tact, so I see no other alternative.

I know have no weapon whatsoever, and can't play this character due to the biggest GM mess up I've ever heard of. I'd really appreciate some feedback, sorry if I'm frustrated but this is an amazing mess up. Thanks for your time.

*Edit: To clarify, the bryntroll I did have equipped was no longer in my inventory, my bank, nor my mail. It's just gone.

That is very strange, Shoetwo, it sounds like there was a crossed wire somewhere along the way. Let me take a look and see what I can do.

i believe I found the possible source of confusion, it seems you used the item level instead of the name. I'm not certain how that ended up causing the deletion of an active item but I can see a bit of a correlation. If you require a restoration in the future make sure you include the name of the item that should help. :D
