My emote sounds on my alliance characters works fine, but when I make a horde character I have to turn the sound up so loud to hear them that I go deaf from the game noises. This isn't a new problem or a problem with settings for me as I played horde a couple years ago & had the same problem. Again I can hear ally fine & i do have the setting right on horde but its just very low. Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm on vista and dxdiag is on there but there are no setting you can change plus a computer issue wouldn't be the cause of me hearing one faction not the other.

I am not entirely certain what would cause that, Warcheef. Have you tried using a different computer? If it happens on multiple systems then posting this in the Bug Report forum would be an excellent idea so our Quality Assurance Team can look into it.

If it doesn't then the issue is likely with your system. Perhaps a sound file or option was changed at some point. I'd recommend resetting your User Interface first and if you continue to experience the issue try running the Repair.exe program located in your Worldofwarcraft directory.

Beyond that, Technical Support may be your best option for troubleshooting it.
