Alliance to Horde gold exchange.

I'm planning on exchanging 24000 gold from my Alliance toons to my Horde toons on the same server.

My gold was acquired honestly, and I'm confident the other person's gold was as well, but it's a fairly significant amount of gold and I'm sure it'll get flagged somehow.

On the off chance this whole thing goes south, I have a couple questions:

If we agree verbally to the gold transfer up front in chat, if the other party renegs on their end of the bargain will Blizzard help me get the gold? (I'm going to be xferring the gold in small chunks to prevent getting completely ripped off)

If the other persons gold was obtained illegally, how will it effect me should Blizzard track them down?

Hiya Omnilock,

Q u o t e:
I have multiple accounts, so I could do that myself, but I'm not willing to lose 15% of 24k to the neutral AH cut. Thanks for the suggestion though.

If you are not willing to lose 15% of 24k, but are willing to lose the total of 24k to another player, that is completely at your own risk. There are times we are able to assist with these types of scams, but although we are always willing to investigate, make sure the agreements between players regarding trades are clear.
