So I send a ticket to a Gm and after a little while I log off for the night. Yesterday i go to look at something in my armory page and I cant find my toon listed, I try and log onto my account and it keeps saying incorrect username or password. I was at work at the time and couldn't access my email. When i get home and check my mail I have a message from Blizzard saying they reset my password and I would need to go ahead and change it, I have another email right after taht one saying that "we have evidence that the pc you are using contains a virus, trojan or keylogger. for your protection and security we have suspended your account for 24 hrs"
I check both email headers and determine that they are indeed from blizzard and rest my password, but then I was locked out of my account. So I figure I'll run a virus scan just in case theres something on my system, nothing there.
How is it that I send a ticket for help with a problem in game and end up with a 24 hr suspension on my account? and did I miss something that said I gave blizzard authorization to scan my system for viruses? how else would you have evidence of a virus on my system?
