Need help with Starcraft 2 CD key!

So I bought Starcraft 2 at Walmart. Knowing I couldn't take the discs and things home with me, I scribbled down the CD key and threw everything else away, intending to use Battle.net to download the game.

So I get home, but apparently the CD key isn't valid! What do I do!? I'm scared to death here, frantic!

I know these forums are for WoW tech support, but since I can't get SC2 to authenticate, I can't use the SC2 forums!

Please help!

Honestly, Geoggeir, I'm not certain what kind of assistance you were expecting. Regardless of if you had access to the SCII forum I can't imagine what could be done. All you claimed to have was a scribbled down CD Key that was not working. No discs, no box, no receipt of purchase.

You simply don't have any evidence that you purchased the game itself. If you did I would recommend that you return to the store and speak with someone about the issue and they may be able to exchange it for you.

Hopefully with what you have written down and your friend's help you can figure it out.
