This couldn't get worse - Help From Support

I'm using a friends account to post this. I recently was hacked on my main 'Plåuge'. My account was then locked after me requesting blizzard to do so. I finally get ahold of blizzard support via phone and we settle everything and he says "We'll send a password reset to your email now" i click on the link and I get "Your password link has expired please initiate a new password reset from this page". I fill a new password and confirm the password click continue and I get "username not correct" when the page doesn't even ask for my username. Hackers changed my password and I was somehow logged onto battle.net right before they did so letting me post on the forums. But this is just ridiculous, I've waited all day and now I get an error message saying that my link is expired when he just sent it and then stating my 'username' is incorrect when I'm not prompted to give my username! If a blue would just do this for me, because I'm not gonna wait till 2moro to call and wait another hour and a half after a 7 hour try to even get in the call queue. I gave the blizzard employee my credit card information my top 3 characters etc. Please just fix this problem or reset my password for me and tell me the new password.

I'm not certain why you are having an issue resetting your password, Galixman. I'm simply not able to pass along account specific information via the forums nor would I have access to enough information so you can properly identify that you are the registered user if I did.

I'd recommend that you do not spam the link for a password reset, that is likely causing an issue. I can issue a password reset myself though, which should send an e-mail to your registered address. I would recommend clearing your browsers temporary internet files (cookies/cache) and reloading it before trying again.

I will need the realm that you main is apparently on. With over 200 realms on the North American version of World of Warcraft having just a character name is not enough. :) If you can give me a realm as well I can force the password to reset.

Edit: Well I'm a bit behind on the times. Shiny things always distracting me.

Are you still experiencing a login issue, Galixman?

And not to focus on the matter too much but the others are correct, who pays the subscription fees on an account is irrelevant, only one adult (registered to the account) and one minor child (that the adult is the parent or legal guardian of) may access an account. If your cousin is posting on your behalf that is best, but I would avoid accessing the account yourself as that does violate our Terms of Use.
