Ok ive posted on here once before about this and im just curious as to what the policy is on really old tos violation examples if someone traded an account on an account that they currently do not play anymore is their current battle.net and account at risk of being banned or is the only account at risk of being banned the traded one (not linked by a battle.net account).

Example in more detail:account 1 is no longer played but was traded but recalled because of the later knowledge that is against the tos.
account 2 is the only account the player now plays on and is not linked to account by battle.net but have same last name.

would account 1s past tos violation make account 2 bannable?

This is so situational there is no way to predict a theoretical scenario like this, Barrahan.

Normally, accounts are standalone but it really depends on the situation and offense.

Don't trade accounts folks, these aren't trading cards. The account holder is the person whose name it was setup in (with certain exceptions for minors).

Q u o t e:
my thing is on the phone the blizzard representative said no it would only affect the account with the tos violation so why the change in answers now?

If you already got an answer, why are you asking here?

Also, my answer wasn't a contradiction of that at all.
