Blizz store bugged? (I'm out $200+!)

So here's my issue, which I will briefly lay out in this post, after having attempted to get into the 'queue' on the 1800 number for the past 2 days.

I have been trying to purchase the in-game pets available at the online Blizzard Store (KT, XT, Panda), in pairs (6 total), so that my wife and I could both enjoy them. The process ran much like it did the previous 2 times when I bought Celestial Steeds for the both of us. The deviation occurred after confirming the payment and shipping info, in the finaly step.

"There has been an error processing your request."
"For assistance, contact Blizzard Customer Support at (800) 592 5499."

My first assumption was a mistype or something of that nature. I backed out of the cart, re-entered payment information, and got the same result.

I instantly assumed my bank had, as they have in the past, frozen my debit card because of "online purchases", which they some how assume are all iherently evil and fraudulent in nature. I attempted a second card, and again, got the same error response.

I then took up the theory that it maybe that the Blizzard Store is having some type of processing issue and walked all over the forums, while attempting to call the 1800 number and constantly getting the "our hold queue is full and we are unable to take your call" denial message. I found no evidence or hint of any current issues with the Blizzard Store.

Today I got my bank branch manager to dig into my account and find out if they could see any reason for this failure and lo-and-behold the cards (both) were closed out due to suspect fraudulent online purchasing. Blizz off the hook, bank is a pain in my butt... but wait...

They closed my cards due to over $200 being charged to them by Blizzard. Now I can account for that money as the attempts to make the purchases... what I can not account for is why Blizzard's site is charging my card, giving me an error, and not the requested product(s). This also means my bank locked my cards AFTER Blizzards multiple charges, and therefore that was not the root cause.

I have the charges in dispute at this point, and will hopefully get my money back in the near future. My bigger concern now is that I will not be able to renew my game time when my month runs out in the near future.

So, someone please tell me how this is going on, and how I can avoid having this issue continue when trying to use the Blizzard Store? I am looking forward to being able to pay for my account, and even buy a few items from the store... but as it looks now, I am just giving free money to Blizzard, which unfortunately guys, is a bit over the level of adoration I'm ready to admit to just now ;)

I'm only bringing this situation here for some help and notice because going on 48 hours now, I've gotten nothing but "our support queue is currently full and we are unable to take your call". I can't even get on hold with you guys! Yes I've sent 3 emails via the form on this topic, with only the "we got it and will get back to you" automated responses to show for it. I also opened an in-game GM ticket, fully knowing they would refer me to the 1800 number, but even THAT ticket still sits open, unanswered, at the top right of my screen.

Whats the deal guys?

You'd need to confirm this all with Billing, but these sound like standard pending charges.

That money IS deducted from your available balance or credit line - but will fall off if no charge comes through to match up with it. How long depends on your bank's own rules.

That is standard in any internet purchase and can happen from repeated attempts. The bank or credit card reserves that expecting a charge to come through and match up. If none do, it disappears - usually within a few days.
