Did I get ninja'ed?

Yesterday I joined a pug ICC10m and everything went fine up until lootship, we turned it on hardmode and beat it very quickly. Then a heroic dagger drops! Forgot the nae but if you have atlas loot you'll know what it is. I /rolled a 31 and the shammy /rolled a 21. Then the master looter says over vent, "Well I'm gonna give it to the dagger to the shaman because it has a yellow socket and it has haste so its begging to be a shaman weapon." So I get my mic and go off in the vent chat. Telling him how I rolled highest and I deserve the dagger. He refused to give it to me and awarded it to shaman and we went on to the next boss, me as angry as ever. Then cloth shoes from saurfang drops and I roll highest on them and nthen he said," There you got some loot, happy?"..... So should I open a ticket and report him or what?

Excellent question, and I would have to agree. The original point of the thread was to ask if a petition should be submitted based off of the believe that the item should have been given to the OP.

Agalex, if you believe that firm looting rules were stated and the Master Looter went against them you are welcome to submit a petition. We can investigate the matter and if we believe a scam took place we will take what actions are appropriate.

Though overall the tone of this thread has been positive, for which I thank you all for, it is a discussion better suited in a class discussion forum or even general so I'll be locking this one up.
