Accidentally deleted 79 DK!

I'm in shock right now.

I was about to get a character recustomization on my level 79 DK (which I am posting on right now), and I was logged out, creating new level-1 characters with different names to see if any of the names that I wanted were available or not.

I was creating and deleting the characters pretty quickly, without thinking. Turns out I'm also a pretty fast typer, so it doesn't take a second thought to type "delete" in less than a second. When I was deleting one of the new toons that I made, the cursor switched to my death knight without me knowing it, and I deleted him on accident.

I'm extremely pissed off at myself right now. Is there any way possible that I can get my death knight back? I don't care if they can recover the gold or any of the items on him, I just want the character back.

I filed a GM ticket on my druid, and am waiting for a reply. I need any help I can get.

We try to give what warnings we can but as you noticed you can confirm that delete option without really noticing. Have no fear though, we understand that these things happen and we want to help whenever possible. Though we are unable to guarantee any restoration I'm pretty certain we'll be able to help in this case.

If we can your character will be restored how it was when it was deleted, meaning that any gold/items, etc.. that you had on the character will be restored as well.

As the others said it may take several days before we are able to look into your request. You do not need to remain online for assistance, just leave your petition open and someone will see if they can help as soon as they can.

Good luck!
