Accidentally deleted heirlooms

So, ya I did something really stupid and accidentally deleted my Death Knight while it still had my plate heirlooms equipped. I thought I sent them to a different character but obviously I didn't because I've checked every character's inventory and their banks 2 times (some more). But, this isn't my question.

My question is, will I be able to get them restored? I opened a ticket last night and after over 14 hours of my ticket being open I get a message saying my ticket has been escalated. Which is fine I'm ok with waiting as long as I get results (haha). So, I go to check my email (which I only use for my acc) to get more info on what the status is etc etc. But it turns out my email had been deactivated due to inactivity because I only use it for this WoW acc. So, I reactivated it and it's good to go now. But all of the previous emails would've just been sent back to the sender.

So, all in all what I'm wondering is, if you delete a toon with heirlooms still equipped is it possible just to get the heirlooms restored and I'm wondering why the ticket would need to be escalated, and if blizz sends me an email and it just gets sent back to them what exactly happens? lol. (The reason I don't want the DK restored is because I already have another on the server and as everyone knows you can only have 1 per server so that wouldn't work.)

Lesson of the day: don't do stupid stuff like me.

P.S. sorry for such a long post but any help would be appreciated, ty all!

Chances are your death knight will be restored to you, Cryptess, so that you can send the heirloom item off and do with the DK what you wish. Your petition being escalated is a good sign, as it means the petition will be looked into further, by a Game Master that can review the situation and determine what the best course of action would be. :0)

Good luck getting your item back.
