Some sick people play this game...

I was in trade chat this morning and someone mentioned doing a Kara run. I said I was interested. Until my son started waking up. I then told the person, in trade, that my son was waking up and I wouldn't be able to run.

Someone then decides to call me a bad Mom because I was playing WoW instead of taking care of my child. Honestly, am I supposed to just sit and stare at him while he sleeps? I'm not allowed to do anything else?

Really? REALLY!? I'm sorry but child molestation isn't funny. Sure I've giggled at a pedobear joke, when they aren't too rancid, or even a few dead baby jokes. But this is just too far. Telling someone to have sexual relations with their 2 month old son is just beyond wrong.

In the 4 years that I've been playing WoW I have NEVER once reported someone. But I did today.

Ugh.

Okay end rant, sorry.

I agree with the sentiment that they were trying to upset you, Trancu. But that is beside the point, as that is not an appropriate matter for the game, and should indeed be something that you report to the Game Master staff. While you do not need to list the chat channel, I would be sure give the character’s name and, in the event that you are in a battleground or instance with someone not from your realm, the name of the realm they are from as well as a brief description of what is said.

Please take the time to submit an in-game petition, though, as that is the proper way to get this situation addressed. I am sorry to hear of your negative experience, Trancu, but our Game Master staff will take all appropriate actions if you report the situation via the appropriate channels. :0)
