Reinstating a character

Okay, about a week ago I put in a ticket to get a toon I had accidentally deleted about a month or so ago. I got a response back about 2-3 days ago saying they would gladly restore the character for me.

Yay, thank you blizzard.

Now, to the question: How long is it supposed to take to get the character back? Like I said, I received a response back from a GM 2 or 3 days ago. I left my ticket response up in case the character in the end doesn't get restored. How long should I wait before I inquire about it again?

As your fellow players have suggested, creating a new character on the realm will refresh the character list and make your character visible once more. :)
