Ok, so I had the authenticator on my old phone, but I got a new one today and now I can't log-in to my account. I forgot to remove it before I got the new phone. I have the authenticator on my new phone but the numbers don't match so it doesn't work. if someone could help me I'd appreciate it.

Calling Billing would be a good first step. The serial number would have been useful.

They may require documentation from you before this can be accomplished. That's for your protection. Authenticators would be of little value if anyone could just call up and ask one be taken off.

To remove it - you'd need that old authenticator anyway.

And no, reinstalling won't help on a mobile - you'd get a new serial number which in essence is a new authenticator.

Q u o t e:
so then is there any way of me ever being able to log into my account again? lol

Yes, you need to get that taken off.

As I said above, Billing can assist with that.

That is the only thing to really remember about a mobile version of the authenticator. If you change phones, always remove it then replace it as quickly as possible.
